Disengaging the spirit of confusion. pt 2

Suspicion and lack of trust: Every relationship characterized by constant suspicion and lack of trust will lead to confusion. When two would-be couple is always in constant mistrust and suspicion for one another, I tell you the honest truth nothing will be achieved because their visions do not merge.
You see, what I am saying here is something that many have neglected but it is destroying a lot of marriages, relationships etc. I have personally witnessed this ugly demon destroy many lives and great destinies. Suspicion makes you not to believe people. It reduces your love and affection for someone who truly may love you from a sincere heart.

I have personally discovered that most people who suspect and doubt people around them were people who knew your secrets or weaknesses. They believe you have not changed and that you can never change. So, when you are trying to do your best to prove to them you are a changed person, the more and stronger their suspicions and mistrust. They conclude within themselves that everything you do is all pretense. When this happens, it can create a lot of chaos and at the end if not properly controlled, it can lead to disaster. Many brothers and sisters dreams have been shattered by this demon. Remember when you do not trust people around, others will see it and will not trust you either.

Disloyalty/disrespect: This is another factor which manifests confusion. Wherever you see confusion, it means somebody somewhere has refused to be loyal or respect the other party. When you see a junior staff arrogating position and authority to himself and nothing is been done about it, I must tell you the simple truth, just expect confusion. Disloyalty and disrespect in any organization or home will lead to confusion. This factor has crumbled a lot of churches, ministries, businesses etc.

Detecting disloyalty and disrespect early can give you a great chance of combating this evil dreaded spiritual virus called spirit of confusion. Please do not misunderstand me.  It is not every home or church that you will find this spirit at work. But you can detect the early signs as the Holy Spirit gives you wisdom and revelation. If there is anything the devil hate is to see orderliness, unity and peace. It is possible to exhibit loyalty and respect to the person close to you.

Disloyalty and lack of respect unfolds pride and arrogance and when this is in full scale, everything goes hay- wire.
Respect people. Be submissive to authorities. The very reason we see riots and carnages is because people had refused to be loyal and submissive to higher authority. When you see riot going on, we can only conclude on one thing the spirit of confusion have taken over. But remember, it began with one or two persons who at first were disloyal and disrespectful. They proceed by influencing others into what they believe and thereby invoking the spirit of confusion.

No ministry or church can grow when this spirit is in their midst. I personally have witnessed this in ministry. No minister of the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ can succeed in ministry while this spirit is in the midst of the members or workers. Devil cannot appear to you to fight. Bu t he will enter people under you to fight you or frustrate you. So when you begin to sense an early of disloyalty and disrespect among the workers or members, you should know that an unavoidable confusion is ahead of you.
Sometimes, I try the workers under my leadership to see their allegiance to authority. Many a times I give them a sudden responsibility and watch their reactions. I have watched some exhibit absolute disloyalty. For instance, I may tell the workers we are having a meeting by 5pm and that late-coming will not be tolerated. By this command, I noticed some who obeyed while others disobeyed and even when they come late, they can hardly apologize. This is an early sign and must not be neglected. It leads to confusion thereafter. By the time you rebuke them, they may go ahead to influence others who may in turn rebel against your authority. I have seen this in ministry; the same people, whom you raised, suddenly turned wild against you.

They even go as far as speaking the same man of God that blessed their life. This can distort the name and reputation of the ministry unless by Gods divine intervention. Man of God; get rid of disloyal and disrespectful people around you before they put your ministry in confusion. This counsel is not only applicable to men of God. It is also applicable to all potential leaders, business men and women, directors etc.
Where disloyalty is imminent, be ready for storms and struggles. Joshua .portiphar, and Daniel was loyal to four kings –Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Darius, Cyrus. Jesus was loyal to both his earthly parents and his heavenly father. You need to check if you are disloyal and disrespectful to authorities. You need to pray against the devil using you as a weapon of confusion.

 False accusation/Slandering
He that hideth hatred with lying lips and he that uttereth a slander
Is a fool ( prov. 10 : 18 )
what does it mean to slander?
This means to make a false spoken statement that causes people to have a bad opinion of someone.
It is the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage anothers reputation.
                                  The purpose of false accusations
1.     Character assassination
2.     Defamation:  to hurt the reputation of someone or something especially by saying things that are false or unfair.

Disengaging the spirit of confusion

What many do not know is that this demon does not show up straight just the way we had wanted it to appear. It is not always on the lead. In fact showing up first is against its law of manifestation. There are several means by which this spirit of confusion manifests itself in the life of believers in Christ. The nature of this evil spirit is to confuse (to bring to ruin or to disturb in mind or purpose).
From my little experience as a deliverance minister, I have discovered several ways this spirit manifests.

It manifests in the form of anger: when you see two people at logger-heads and everyone is angry, you had better watch out carefully for this spirit because we may try to presume that everybody is trying to express his or her own views which was unaccepted but little did we see that this virus called confusion is the one already in charge. Check their end; if everybody walks away without settling the matter amicably, it means this spirit of confusion have taken over.
What we do not know is that when we get angry, we become ugly. We behave abnormally. We do crazy things. No angry person looks beautiful while exhibiting that attitude. I personally have experienced this. You see God has given us free will. Free will is the ability to change direction anytime.
You have the ability to change either good or bad. It is not in the power of God, your pastor or the church to exercise or even change your free will. This is the reason we do certain things without having a thought about the aftermath consequences. Uncontrolled anger can set a mansion on fire. Anger is the mother of confusion. Once you embrace it, your journey in life can be delayed; I mean it can cost you your destiny. No reasonable person wants to stay with an angry person. Even the bible warns us about it:
‘’ make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: lest thou learn his ways and get a snare to thy soul. (prov. 22:24) ‘’

It can come in the form of misunderstanding: This simply means in my own little language – the absence of understanding. To understand means to know the meaning of something, such as the words that someone is saying or a language. This implies you observing carefully with caution.

You must possess a gentle and calm spirit while in any conversation. When someone is talking to you, the first thing to do is to listen very cautiously and attentively so that you do not miss what he or she is saying. When both parties are talking at the same time, it leads to misunderstanding which results to confusion.

Believers in Christ Jesus must understand this matter. I have applied this principle as I counsel people. The truth is being a good listener. Give people a chance to express their opinions. Never conclude on issues which you do not understand in any talk. It can lead to misunderstanding which can invoke this satanic force of confusion.

It can come in the form of a quarrel: First, we need to understand what it means to quarrel. To quarrel means to engage in a dispute or complaint. It means to argue about or disagree with something; to contend or dispute actively. A notable preacher once said “quarrels will arise but it becomes a problem when we do not know how to settle it. “

Every unsettled quarrel may lead us into confusion. You may not want to believe me. But kindly check what happens in an environment where people are quarreling with each other. If we sincerely agree that quarrel is all about disagreements and contentions, then let us expect confusion. If you see any home or organization where there are constant contentions and disagreements, only a hand-full of progress can be achieved because unity is lacking. Wherever you see quarrels and misunderstanding, you will see several set-backs and stagnation. This is the sole aim of this spirit (confusion). It does not just take over your life, home or ministry surprisingly. It must have a stronghold by which it must operate. When this spirit captures a Christian, he or she may not even know they are under the control of strong satanic force. We must be determined to overlook issues that are baseless and useless. Overlook matters that will lead you into arguments and quarrels. You may think you are losing, but just let it go.
